Greetings! I'm the proud owner and lead trainer at Confident Canine LLC, bringing over 5 years of experience in reactivity, aggression, service, therapy, and sport dog training. My journey into dog training took off when I had the privilege of training my own medical alert service dog, Winston. He became the inspiration that started my journey of learning within the dog community.
In 2020, Maverick, a working line German Shepherd, entered my life, introducing me to the dynamic world of dog sports, particularly Schutzhund. It wasn't an effortless journey with Maverick initially; earning his respect and building a strong working relationship became essential. Through this experience, I realized the significance of developing a meaningful bond with your dog.
My training philosophy is rooted in a relationship-based approach. Recognizing that each dog is unique, I believe in tailoring training methods to fit their individual needs. Building a solid relationship is the cornerstone of effective training – it's not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Once a strong connection is established, training becomes an enjoyable and rewarding experience for both you and your canine.
